Ukraine Drone Coalition

The Ukraine Drone Coalition, formally established on 14 February 2024 as a Latvia-UK initiative, aims to ensure Ukraine’s UAV supremacy through stable drone supplies, promote secure Western drone part supply chains, support Western drone manufacturing, and enhance allied UAV capabilities. As of early 2026, the coalition has expanded with multiple member states including the UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Norway, and Canada; total support reached €1.8 billion in 2024, with plans to deliver 30,000 drones to Ukraine (12,000 Latvian-made), and ongoing procurements like €24 million and Latvian investments of €10-20 million annually. From a defense-intelligence perspective, it holds strategic significance by bolstering Ukraine's reconnaissance and strike capabilities against Russian forces, fostering Western drone industry growth, and countering Russian drone advancements amid intensified UAV warfare.
