Turkey Unmanned Combat Aircraft Project (Bayraktar Kizilelma)

The Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) runs an Unmanned Combat Aircraft project to bring Baykar's jet-powered Bayraktar Kizilelma into Turkish service with national subsystems. Baykar started Kizilelma in 2021 with its own funds. SSB launched a subsystems supply project in December 2025 covering ASELSAN's MURAD AESA radar, TOYGUN electro-optical targeting system and air radios, and at SAHA 2026 in May 2026 signed that contract with ASELSAN and an integration contract with Baykar. Baykar said in May 2026 that series production had begun and that it aims to start deliveries to the Turkish Air Force in 2026.
