Poland FlyEye/Warmate Program
Use this to quickly assess program maturity and supplier depth.
The Poland FlyEye/Warmate Program represents an integrated reconnaissance and strike capability designed to address high-intensity conflict scenarios on NATO's eastern flank. FlyEye is a mini-class unmanned aerial system for aerial reconnaissance equipped with daylight and thermal imaging cameras, while Warmate 3 is a loitering munition (strike drone) with extended range and precision strike capability. Both systems integrate with Poland's TOPAZ combat management system to create a sensor-to-shooter loop enabling rapid target identification and engagement. The program reflects Poland's strategic pivot toward sovereign defense production and rapid procurement in response to lessons learned from the Ukraine conflict, with framework agreements covering 1,600 FlyEye drones (400 sets) through 2035 and approximately 10,000 Warmate loitering munitions through the same timeframe. FlyEye systems have demonstrated operational effectiveness in Ukraine and are currently in service with Polish Armed Forces, Border Guard, and allied nations.
