Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), established in 1984, is Turkey's center of technology for design, development, modernization, manufacturing, integration, and life cycle support of aerospace systems including fixed and rotary wing platforms, UAVs, and satellites. It plays a key role in the defense and drone industry through indigenous UAV programs like ANKA and Aksungur, alongside partnerships for aircraft like F-16, A400M, and aerostructures for Boeing and Airbus. TAI ranks among the top 100 global aerospace and defense companies with capabilities in over 50 military and commercial programs.
