Counter-Drone Capability Contract

The Australian Government is procuring counter-drone capabilities from AeroVironment under a EUR 41,000,000 contract to equip the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with systems for detecting and neutralizing unmanned aerial threats. This acquisition supports Project LAND 156, a broader initiative to rapidly deliver over 120 threat detectors and drone-defeating technologies following testing, enhancing ADF protection for bases, deployed forces, and critical infrastructure amid evolving drone risks in modern warfare.
