Provide engineering support for enhancements for the C-UAS fixed site low, slow, small unmanned aerial vehicle integrated defeat system (fs-lids) managed by the integrated fires/rapid capabilities office (if/rco) project directorate (PD)

This $3.41 million U.S. Department of Defense contract provides engineering support to enhance the Fixed Site-Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Integrated Defeat System (FS-LIDS), an immobile counter-drone system designed to detect, track, and electronically defeat low-flying small drones at fixed military installations. The FS-LIDS, selected as the military's interim counter-sUAS solution, integrates SRC Technology's AN/TPQ-50 radar, electronic warfare systems, and electro-optic/infrared cameras to provide accurate detection and low-cost precision defeat capabilities against Groups 1–3 unmanned aerial systems. Managed by the Integrated Fires/Rapid Capabilities Office (IF/RCO) Project Directorate, the contract supports improvements to this critical defense system under the C-UAS (Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems) program.
