FPV fly build and counter UAS courses of instruction

This $296,419 defense contract with the U.S. Department of Defense funds a 10-day course of instruction for up to six personnel to build, fly, and counter First-Person-View (FPV) small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS), including 35 hours of FPV theory, 5 hours of hands-on assembly, and 40 hours of supervised flight in indoor, outdoor, and simulated environments. The training, administered by Naval Special Warfare Command under U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), culminates in a capstone field exercise and is set to begin January 15, 2026 as a firm-fixed-price contract awarded to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
