India's MQ-9B Predator acquisition program involves procuring 31 Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) drones from US firm General Atomics under a government-to-government Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreement valued at approximately $3-4 billion, aimed at enhancing intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and precision strike capabilities across the Indian Navy, Army, and Air Force.
