Z1

The Z1 is a hydrogen fuel cell-powered tactical Group 2 VTOL UAS developed by Heven AeroTech, capable of up to 10 hours of endurance with minimal noise and thermal signature. It features a 10-pound payload capacity, 55-pound maximum takeoff weight, and can be deployed in just 5 minutes, making it suitable for long-duration ISR missions in contested environments. The Z1 was the first hydrogen-powered drone approved for the U.S. Defense Innovation Unit's Blue UAS Cleared List, addressing critical gaps in long-endurance, low-signature operations particularly for Indo-Pacific theater applications.
