Schiebel is an Austrian defense and aerospace company founded in 1951 that specializes in the development, testing, and production of unmanned aerial systems and mine detection equipment. The company is globally renowned for its CAMCOPTER S-100 vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) unmanned helicopter, which serves over 40 customers including 15+ naval forces worldwide. In 2025, Schiebel established a dedicated defense subsidiary to produce weaponized variants (S-101 and S-301) for military strike and surveillance missions.
