RPAS Services for Maritime Surveillance — VTOL Services (Lot 1)

The European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) awarded Schiebel a EUR 16,500,000 contract in 2018 for RPAS VTOL services using the CAMCOPTER S-100 unmanned air system. Schiebel provides these services to support EU member states with maritime surveillance, emission monitoring for IMO compliance, search and rescue, and oil spill detection, operable from shore or vessels. This initial contract established Schiebel's ongoing role, followed by renewals in 2021 and 2025, enhancing Europe's maritime situational awareness.
