Royal Australian Air Force

The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) is the aerial warfare service branch of the Australian Defence Force, responsible for air superiority, precision strikes, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, air mobility, space surveillance, and humanitarian support. It operates 252 aircraft, including 108 combat aircraft, and is involved in drone programs like the MQ-4C Triton high-altitude long-endurance UAV for maritime surveillance and the MQ-28 Ghost Bat loyal wingman UAV. Headquartered in Canberra, the RAAF supports national defense and international operations.
