The Department of the Air Force is obligating $12,417,184.55 in award fee funding to Amentum Services, Inc. under the Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) IDIQ contract (FA489018D0002) for period one award earned at sites other than Air National Guard locations. This funding supports organizational-level maintenance services for MQ-9 Reaper drones, including pre- and post-flight inspections, weapons loading, and aerospace ground equipment solutions to sustain combat and training capabilities at U.S. bases and overseas locations. The MQ-9 Reaper is a critical UAV for long-endurance reconnaissance, surveillance, and strike missions, enhancing the Air Force's operational readiness in modern warfare.
