MALET MQ-9 BLOCK 5 KITS

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems is providing MQ-9 Block 5 upgrade kits to the Defense Contract Management Agency for approximately $24.4 million. The MQ-9A Block 5 is an advanced remotely piloted aircraft featuring enhanced payload capacity of 3,850 pounds, extended endurance of 27+ hours, and operational altitude up to 50,000 feet, equipped with multi-mode radar, electro-optical/infrared sensors, and weapons systems for persistent surveillance and strike operations. This procurement supports the modernization and sustainment of the U.S. military's primary medium-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aircraft system for multi-domain operations.
