Service Framework Contract for the Provision of “RPS Core Layer Standardisation”

The project shall contribute to the development of a Minimum Operational Performance Standard (MOPS) for the operational performance of the Remote Pilot Station (RPS), covering all elements and equipment considered essential for the crew to operate Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) (Layer 1 — RPS Core Layer as described below). This standardisation activity will build on previous projects, specifications and standards in both air traffic integration and airworthiness. This approach follows the concept regarding Remote Pilot Stations from ICAO RPASPWG-1 as described in working paper WP/9, "REMOTE PILOT STATION SYSTEM BOUNDARIES".
