MQ-9 REAPER FISCAL YEAR (FY) 23/24 MISSION READINESS CAPABILITY (MRC)

The Department of the Air Force is procuring Mission Readiness Capability (MRC) support services from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems for the MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aircraft system valued at $12,073,449.56 for fiscal years 2023-2024. The MQ-9 Reaper is an armed, multi-mission, medium-altitude, long-endurance remotely piloted aircraft employed primarily for strike operations against dynamic targets and secondarily for intelligence collection, with capabilities including precision weapons employment, surveillance, and reconnaissance. This contract supports sustaining the operational readiness and mission effectiveness of the Air Force's Reaper inventory, which maintains the highest mission readiness rate among combat aircraft while consuming only 2.6 percent of total Air Force flying hour costs.
