Sea-based UAS ISR services

The Department of the Navy awarded Insitu Inc. a $9.9 million contract for sea-based unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) services. This procurement provides UAS ISR data collection support services for the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies, with the majority of work performed at undisclosed locations outside the continental United States. The contract supports tactical unmanned systems including the RQ-21A Blackjack and ScanEagle platforms, which are deployed from naval vessels to conduct maritime surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
