Unmanned aircraft systems ground control station version 4

The Federal Acquisition Service procured Unmanned Aircraft Systems Ground Control Station Version 4 (UASGCS-V4) software upgrades from Leidos, Inc. for approximately $42.8 million. Leidos will develop and refresh software, provide engineering services for technical and logistics support, and integrate the solution into the Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS) with qualification, certification, and testing for multiple UAS platforms to benefit the U.S. Army. This upgrade aims to create a simplified, efficient system compatible with Army, DoD, and commercial software, easing operations, reducing training burdens, and enhancing commanders' concept of operations flexibility.
