The Department of the Army has awarded Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation a contract valued at USD 9,519,787.73 to provide hardware, training materials, technical manuals, and conduct training to integrate Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania into the NATO architecture for Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS). This supports modernization of the Baltics' air defense and C-UAS capabilities, including fielding Northrop Grumman's FAAD C2 system for interoperability with NATO and U.S. forces amid Russian drone incursions. The effort aligns with NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence on the eastern flank and responses to airspace violations from Belarus and Russia.
