Provision Of Drone System

The UK Ministry of Defence is procuring the Nyan One Way Effector kamikaze drone system from Callen-Lenz for approximately £4.99 million to enhance operational capability, effectiveness, readiness, safety, and security of its armed forces, particularly bolstering deep fire capabilities. This off-the-shelf product, already tested and used by MoD departments, is the only feasible near-term option due to its registration on the Military Aircraft Register and integration with government-furnished equipment. The contract aligns with recent UK investments in unmanned systems amid broader efforts to pivot to autonomous technologies for increased lethality and force protection.
