The Defense Contract Management Agency has awarded DRS Sustainment Systems Inc. a $7,004,451.85 contract for engineering support services to convert the Mobile Low, Slow, Small Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems Integrated Defeats System (MLIDS) from Block 0 to Block 2. This procurement provides specialized engineering assistance for upgrading the MLIDS, a mobile counter-UAS system designed to defeat low, slow, and small unmanned aerial threats. As part of Leonardo DRS's broader defense sustainment efforts, it supports U.S. military force protection against evolving drone threats.
