Procurement of five (5) eagls C-UAS modular systems and associated engineering and maintenance support, support equipment, spares, initial training materials, and technical manuals

The Department of the Navy is procuring five EAGLS C-UAS modular systems, along with associated engineering and maintenance support, support equipment, spares, initial training materials, and technical manuals, from MSI Defense Solutions LLC for a total value of USD 27,879,853.01. These systems, which integrate a 70mm rocket launcher for laser-guided APKWS II rockets, Leonardo’s RPS-40 radar, and electro-optical/infrared sensors, are designed to provide mobile or stationary counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) defense against drone threats. The procurement supports forward-deployed U.S. forces, including in regions like the Middle East, addressing vulnerabilities of bases and supply nodes to low-cost drones through cost-effective precision engagements.
