The Department of the Air Force awarded Koa Lani Joint Venture a $10.08 million task order to provide sustainment, operations, and maintenance of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Squadron Operations Center (RPA-SOC) mission systems, including satellite communications relay sites and design/development of supporting infrastructure. The RPA-SOC is the command center responsible for planning and executing drone missions worldwide, coordinating airspace, managing communications, and disseminating intelligence for Air Combat Command and partner organizations. This work is part of a larger eight-year, $784.3 million multiple-award contract vehicle established to maintain critical unmanned aircraft command and control systems.
