YPO - 001148 Drones and Associated Services

YPO operates a UK-wide dynamic purchasing system for drones and associated services for eligible public-sector organisations. The current official notice keeps the DPS open until 5 March 2027 and the original Find a Tender notice states an estimated maximum value of £500 million excluding VAT. The scope covers drone supply, accessories, maintenance, managed services, training, licensing and operational services.

Key requirements: Supply scope includes remotely piloted or autonomous aircraft in the Open, Specific or Certified categories, related payloads, ground-control and data-management software, docking and charging equipment, maintenance and technical training. Service scope includes surveillance, surveying, inspection, data collection, mapping, firefighting, transport, operator training, rental and leasing. Category 2 flights require a UK CAA Operational Authorisation. YPO generally recommends call-offs no longer than five years and the commercial model includes a 2% supplier/provider rebate.
