IGF::OT::IGF FRENCH AIR FORCE (FAF) MQ-9 UAS CONTRACTOR LOGISTICS SUPPORT (PHASE 1)

The U.S. Department of the Air Force has awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems a $46.8 million contract for Phase 1 Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the French Air Force's MQ-9 UAS, including depot repairs, life cycle sustainment, software maintenance, and related services under a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreement. This support ensures operational readiness of France's MQ-9 Reaper fleet, originally procured in 2013 for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions supporting operations in France, Africa, and NATO coalition efforts. The contract aligns with U.S. foreign policy goals of enhancing a key NATO ally's security and interoperability.
