PARADE drone countermeasures system for the French Ministry of Armed Forces

PARADE (Protection Déployable Modulaire Anti-Drone) is a **modular, multi-mission drone countermeasures system** developed by a consortium led by Thales and CS GROUP for the French defence procurement agency (DGA). The system is designed to **detect, classify, and safely neutralise micro- and mini-drones** to protect critical infrastructure, military bases, events, and personnel either on a temporary basis or during overseas military operations. The contract includes a firm commitment of €33 million with a total programme budget of €350 million over 11 years, with an initial order for six systems. The system features 360° site protection, is easily transportable by road, air, or sea, and includes operator training, maintenance, and upgrades. Partners in the consortium include French SMEs such as CerbAir, Exavision, and MC2 Technologies, as well as the Dutch company Robin.
