PARADE (Protection Déployable Modulaire Anti-Drone) is a **modular, multi-mission drone countermeasures system** developed by a consortium led by Thales and CS GROUP for the French defence procurement agency (DGA). The system is designed to **detect, classify, and safely neutralise micro- and mini-drones** to protect critical infrastructure, military bases, events, and personnel either on a temporary basis or during overseas military operations. The contract includes a firm commitment of €33 million with a total programme budget of €350 million over 11 years, with an initial order for six systems.
