The Defense Contract Management Agency has awarded SRC Inc a $45.7 million contract for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and programmatic activities supporting the US Army's Fixed Site Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Integrated Defeat System (FS-LIDS). FS-LIDS is a counter-UAS system designed to detect, track, identify, and defeat small drones using radars like AN/TPQ-50, electronic warfare, EO/IR cameras, and Coyote interceptors, providing protection for fixed military installations and assets. This support ensures operational readiness amid rising drone threats, with SRC providing key C-UAS components such as radar and camera systems.
