The Department of the Air Force awarded Firestorm Labs, Inc. a $3.85 million contract to integrate the company's Tempest unmanned aerial system into the AFWERX Prime Proving Ground and conduct research and development supporting the Air Force's Adaptive Air Enterprise (A2E), Babbage Flock, and Hale Cluster initiatives. This work involves developing modular, rapidly deployable UAS solutions with advanced autonomy capabilities and supporting drone swarm programs that enable operational agility in contested environments.
