Framework Agreement for Service and Maintenance of Gavia Sonar Training Target

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation is procuring a framework agreement from Teledyne Gavia ehf. for EUR 17,000,000 to provide service and maintenance of the Gavia Sonar Training Target (STT). The STT is a modular configuration of the Gavia AUV that simulates submarine echoes and signatures for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) training of sonar operators on Royal Danish Navy vessels. This supports the Danish Navy's training needs following the decommissioning of its submarine fleet, offering a cost-effective, reusable alternative to live submarines, as used for over 10 years.
