The Defense Contract Management Agency has awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems a contract valued at USD 18,448,394.34 for the MQ-9 Stores Management System Depot Activation, establishing depot-level maintenance capabilities for the MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aircraft system's stores management components at Warner Robins. This activation supports the Reaper's role as a multi-mission ISR and strike platform by enabling organic repair of avionics and electronics, ensuring sustained operational readiness for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and precision strikes. It forms part of a broader public-private partnership effort to provide long-term depot support extending into the 2040s.
