The Department of the Army procured additional counter-unmanned aerial systems platforms, kinetic defeat vehicles, and spare parts from DRS Sustainment Systems Inc under the M-LIDS (Mobile-Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System) program for USD 7,644,007.36. M-LIDS is a mobile counter-UAS capability designed to detect, track, and neutralize small drones threatening service members and critical assets. This procurement supports the Army's integrated air defense strategy by providing mobile platforms equipped with sensors, electronic warfare systems, radar, and kinetic interceptors to counter evolving drone threats.
