The Department of the Navy is procuring four RQ-21 Blackjack air vehicles, associated support equipment, spares, and training from Insitu, Inc., for a total value of USD 13,358,161, under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case BG-P-LAK in support of the Bangladesh Air Force. The RQ-21 Blackjack is a small tactical unmanned aircraft system designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, providing up to 16 hours of endurance, a 50 nautical mile range, and configurable payloads including EO/IR cameras and laser rangefinders. This contract aligns with U.S. efforts to build partner capacity globally by enhancing the Bangladesh Air Force's tactical ISR capabilities in austere land and sea environments.
