Wingman Drone

The Wingman is an unmanned aircraft system developed by Airbus (Germany) designed to operate alongside manned fighter jets like the Eurofighter, receiving tasks and missions from a pilot in a command aircraft. The drone has a length of 11.7 meters and wingspan of 7.3 meters, capable of flying at subsonic speeds with a range exceeding 2,000 nautical miles and an estimated maximum speed of Mach 1. Its fuselage is constructed from composite materials using advanced resin-infusion processes, providing a lighter and more durable platform for fighter-like performance in collaborative combat operations.
