The Arrow 3 is an exoatmospheric anti-ballistic missile interceptor jointly developed by Israel and the United States, designed to defeat medium- to long-range ballistic missiles using hit-to-kill technology in space. It features a two-stage solid-fueled booster with a separating kinetic kill vehicle equipped with a gimbaled electro-optical seeker and pivoting thruster for precise maneuvering. Operational since 2017, it provides a range up to 2,400 km and intercepts threats at altitudes over 100 km, complementing the Arrow 2 in Israel's multi-layered missile defense.
