The IAI Harop is a loitering munition drone manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), designed as a hunter-killer unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) for roles including reconnaissance, target identification, and precision strikes against high-value targets like radars, air defenses, and mobile assets on land or sea. Key capabilities include up to 9 hours of endurance, a 1,000 km operational range, speeds around 400 km/h, and a 23 kg warhead, with man-in-the-loop control via electro-optical/infrared sensors and anti-radar homing for real-time targeting and mission abort options to minimize collateral damage.
