Executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), responsible for protecting and enhancing England's natural environment, land, flora, fauna, freshwater and marine environments, geology and soils. Acts as a public contracting authority, including for environmental survey and monitoring work that can involve drone-collected data.
