The Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS), formerly JPATS, is the U.S. Marshals Service's government-operated, regularly-scheduled passenger airline dedicated to transporting prisoners and detainees securely and economically via a fleet of Boeing 737 and Saab 2000 aircraft. As the largest prison transport network in the world, it supports defense and aerospace operations by managing high-security air movements for over 260,000 annual prisoner movements across more than 40 domestic and international airlift sites using JPATS-owned and leased aircraft operated by expert pilots and aviation security staff.
