Allied Command Transformation (ACT) is NATO's Strategic Warfare Development Command, responsible for leading the military transformation of Alliance forces and capabilities through innovation, defence planning, and capability development to maintain a warfighting edge. It focuses on strategic thinking, capability development, education/training/exercises, and cooperation/engagement, ensuring interoperability and adaptation to emerging challenges like cyber, hybrid warfare, and AI. ACT coordinates Centres of Excellence and subordinate entities including the Joint Warfare Centre (Norway), Joint Force Training Centre (Poland), and Joint Analysis & Lessons Learned Centre (Portugal).
