UK SHARED BUSINESS SERVICES LTD

UK SBS is a government-owned company providing shared and specialist back-office services to UK public bodies: HR and payroll, finance, procurement, and digital and information services. Its procurement arm runs tenders and frameworks on behalf of client departments and research organisations, which is why it appears as the named contracting authority on notices whose end user is another public body. It is jointly owned by the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology (75% or more of shares) and UK Research and Innovation (more than 25% but not more than 50%).
