The General Inspectorate of the Romanian Border Police, the specialised state institution under Romania's Ministry of Internal Affairs responsible for surveillance and control of crossings of the state border, including border crossing points, airports and ports. It polices a long stretch of the European Union's external border, which makes it a recurring national contracting authority for border-surveillance, sensor and patrol equipment.
