The Lithuanian State Border Guard Service (VSAT), a border control institution under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. It controls and maintains the security of Lithuania's borders on land, in the Baltic Sea and in the Curonian Lagoon. As a Frontex member it guards roughly 1,070 km of the European Union's external border with Kaliningrad Oblast and Belarus, and procures border surveillance equipment in that role.
