Valsts robežsardze

Valsts robežsardze, or the State Border Guard, is Latvia's armed border guard institution under the Ministry of the Interior, tasked with securing the state border, preventing illegal migration, and cooperating with armed forces against threats. It conducts border surveillance, control at crossing points, and enforcement of entry regulations for foreigners. The organization originated in 1919 and was re-established in 1991.
