The Region of Western Greece (Perifereia Dytikis Elladas) is one of Greece's thirteen self-governing administrative regions, seated in Patras and covering the regional units of Aetolia-Acarnania, Achaea and Elis. As a regional authority it procures across civil protection, emergency response, environment, infrastructure and transport, which is where drone, aerial survey and surveillance tenders arise. It also administers EU-funded regional development programmes.
