Agency for Defense Development (ADD)

The Agency for Defense Development (ADD) is South Korea's national government agency responsible for research and development in defense technology, funded by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA). It focuses on core weapons systems, core technology development, and major weapons platforms in high-risk fields, including unmanned systems, contributing to national defense enhancement and domestic industry growth. ADD conducts R&D, testing, evaluation, and supports defense acquisitions for the Republic of Korea.
