Remotely operated and autonomous underwater vehicles for the Ministry of Defence

The Royal Netherlands Army and Navy require 24 Remotely Operated Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (ROV-AUVs). Scope of the contract The purpose of this scope is to outline the requirements and specifications for the procurement of three different types of Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs), training, documentation, spare parts to meet the specific needs of our organization. Each of these ROVs serves a different purpose and has different functionalities. The ROVs are categorized as Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced as described in ANNEX A Program of Requirements and ANNEX B Technical Requirements. ANNEX A, B and the other annexes (except for the draft agreement and the price form, these documents will be shared during the award phase) will only be shared after signing a confidentiality agreement. The delivery of remotely operated (autonomous) underwater vehicles as described in ANNEX A - PROGRAM OF REQUIREMENTS and ANNEX B - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. Lot 1 Basic (7) Lot 2 Intermediate (4) Lot 3 Advanced (13) The delivery of peripherals, spare parts, components, tools, and test equipment. The delivery of documentation, as specified in ANNEX A - PROGRAM OF REQUIREMENTS. The delivery of training material and the provision of training, as specified in ANNEX A - PROGRAM OF REQUIREMENTS. The maintenance of the drones at DLM and/or FLM level. The possible delivery of optional drones and parts as described in the draft agreement. The use of remotely operated underwater vehicles and autonomous underwater vehicles (ROV-AUV) offers the opportunity to improve safety and increase diving operation capacity. It also contributes to creating underwater situational awareness.
