Trial of Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) for long endurance Maritime Aerial Surveillance

Frontex wishes to conclude contracts for the purpose of carrying out trials with long-endurance maritime surveillance with 2 types of remotely piloted aircraft systems: the Medium Altitude Long Endurance type and the Small Medium Altitude Long Endurance type. These platforms will fly up to 600 and 300 hours respectively over a period of 120 calendar days in 2018. The trials will take place in areas of the Mediterranean Sea designated by Frontex in cooperation with 1 or more host Member States, within the timeframe Q2-Q4 2018.
