Fixed-Wing RPAS Services for Maritime Surveillance

The European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) has awarded Tekever a €30 million framework agreement to provide AR5 fixed-wing UAS services, including two full systems each with two aircraft, for maritime surveillance operations across European waters. The AR5 UAS, capable of up to 12 hours endurance in beyond-line-of-sight operations with modular payloads like EO/IR cameras, maritime radar, and AIS receivers, supports missions such as situational awareness, fisheries control, law enforcement, environmental protection, and sea rescue. This contract expands prior deployments in countries like Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and the Baltic States, enhancing monitoring capacity for an initial two years with options to extend to four.
