Unmanned ground vehicle for the Federal Office for Radiation Protection

The BfS requires an unmanned ground vehicle UGV and this should be able to fulfil two main tasks. Firstly, the UGV should serve as a measuring device carrier for the radiological exploration of deployment sites. Secondly, the UGV should be suitable for work in high-dose areas (e.g. for source recovery) to minimise the exposure of emergency personnel. - 1 piece UGV incl. required MPU5 radio module - 1 piece control unit for controlling the robot via an MPU5 base station. Interfaces: IP Ethernet (RJ45), USB and HDMI for outputting image data. - 1 piece control unit for close-range control (handheld remote control) - 1 piece fibre optic module with fibre optic cable and motorised winding/unwinding for controlling the UGV without radio connection - Batteries suitable for UGV: o 2x Nickel Metal Hydride o 2x Lithium Ion (operating time with two Li batteries should be at least 6 h.) - Universal charger(s) for all batteries of the system. - 1 car charger at least for UGV batteries - Cameras: o At least one HD camera with 30x zoom and the ability to automatically track the gripper with the camera during movement o At least one additional camera with all-round swivel range o At least one additional camera installed near the gripper o Driving cameras in front and rear for driving directions - Interfaces on the UGV: o At least one interface compatible with RJ45 Ethernet e.g. on HD camera o Further proprietary interfaces for connecting attachments/measuring device holders - 1 laser rangefinder for manipulator arm - 1 sensor platform with interface compatible with RJ45 Ethernet (in addition to the interface mentioned above) - 1 readout holder suitable for RadEye PRD S, RadEye SPRD, RadEye PRD ER 4 from Thermo Fischer - 2 universal holders for handheld measuring devices on the gripper with display transmission capability including illumination - 1 tool holder with tool set - 1 sampling platform with sampling vessels (2 x wipe sample, 2 x tongs, 1 x shovel) Fe
