Framework Supply Agreement: Lot 1 - Unmanned Aircraft System (CBRN Drone); Lot 2 - Unmanned Ground System (CBRN Reconnaissance Robot)

The Inspectoratul General pentru Situatii de Urgenta (General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations) in Romania is procuring via a framework agreement two lots: Lot 1 for an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) drone specialized for CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) operations, and Lot 2 for an Unmanned Ground System (UGS) robotic reconnaissance system also for CBRN purposes. This acquisition supports emergency response and civil protection capabilities. It aligns with Romania's €16.6 billion SAFE investment plan under the EU’s Security Action for Europe programme, which allocates €2.8 billion for equipment including drones and robotic systems for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and public services to enhance security by 2030.
