The object of the contract is the Upgrade of the Infrastructure and Expansion of the Research Prospects of the Archaeometry Laboratory, aiming at expanding and completing the research capabilities of LA@UOP at regional, national and international level, operating in the direction of two modern complementary directions of Cultural Heritage: (1) non-destructive analytical approaches of Cultural Heritage artifacts and materials, with emphasis on Electron Microscopy and with accompanying spectroscopic techniques for the utilization of the most modern analytical devices, focusing mainly on Electron Microscopy tools, and (2) Digital mapping of materials and spaces for the holistic management of Cultural Heritage artifacts, monuments and spaces.
